About Me
Growing up was always an adventure for me since my dad was in the Navy. I was born in the Philippines and have lived in Connecticut, Mississippi, Virginia, Missouri, and Alaska. Growing up on the move has given me some wonderful life experiences. I have made wonderful friends and have seen some pretty great places.
Education
I am a proud graduate on Longwood University located in Farmville, Virginia. During my four and half years at Longwood I earned a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Elementary Education K-8. While at Longwood I maintained above a 3.0 GPA and worked as a supervisor in the Dining Hall. A large part of my time at Longwood was also being dedicated to Alpha Phi Omega (national community service fraternity) and Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority Inc.. GO LANCERS!
Family
My husband Matt and I just celebrated our 17 year anniversary in June. We are blessed to have have three wonderful children who keep us busy!. Henry is 12, Oliver is almost 8 and Lillian is 5. Matt and I have known each other since elementary school and have basically grown up together. It's wonderful to be married to one of your best friends, who has known you for so long. I have two cats named Dwayne and Millie that joined out family this summer. I have lived in Jacksonville for 17 years. I am excited to start year 18 as a proud Sheffield Panther.
